Watch! First Look at Christian Bale’s Transformation into Dick Cheney

Christian Bale completely transforms into Dick Cheney in the brand-new trailer for “Vice.”

The movie, directed by Adam McKay, centers on how Cheney became one of the most powerful men in the world when he served as vice president in the George W. Bush Administration.

To play the role, Christian went through a stunning physical transformation.

Last year, Bale opened up about prepping for the role, telling “Extra's” Renee Bargh that he was “eating everything.” He joked, “I can play Santa… This is just what I do for fun. I like putting on 40 lbs., shaving my head, and bleaching my eyebrows — it's good for laughs. I recommend it to anyone.”

The 44-year-old has already dropped all the pounds he packed on for the movie. In July, he was recently spotted looking much slimmer on a vacation with his family in Italy.

During his career, Christian has also gone through drastic transformations for his roles in “The Machinist,” “Batman Begins,” and “The Fighter.”
