Omarosa on President Trump & First Lady Melania’s Relationship, Plus: Her Plans to Release More Tapes
Former political aide to President Trump Omarosa Manigault Newman is not backing down!
Omarosa sat down with “Extra's” AJ Calloway to promote her book, “UNHINGED: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House,” where she discussed her secret audio tapes.
After releasing recordings of John Kelly and the President, Omarosa revealed she has more recordings, including of the first family. Along with her plans to release more later today, Omarosa said, “I have a treasure trove of multimedia documentation.”
"Extra" has learned that there may be video as well.
Manigault Newman also dished on the relationships that she witnessed in the White House. Of President Trump's relationship with wife Melania, Omarosa said, “Their relationship is very, very strained right now, I believe.” She pointed out that Melania “has no choice” but to be the First Lady.
Another shocker… Omarosa claimed that Melania wants a divorce, saying, “Absolutely, I think she's tired of the way Trump treats her and tired of the way he treats this country.”
Melania communications director, Stephanie Grisham, shut down Omarosa's claims, saying that they “rarely, if ever, interacted.” She added in a statement to Washington Examiner, “It's disappointing to her that she is lashing out and retaliating in such a self-serving way, especially after all the opportunities given to her by the President.”
As for Ivanka and Jared Kushner's marriage, the former “Celebrity Apprentice” star commented, “They are more like brother and sister than husband and wife, and I am not judging their relationship from the outside, I know Ivanka and have met her previous beaus.”
Who was the biggest liar in the White House? Omarosa answered without hesitation, “Donald Trump… I was part of the communications team. He asked us to lie every single day.”
The “Apprentice” star was not afraid of taking on the President and his administration, even after he filed arbitration against her. She emphasized, “I'm gonna fight. Donald Trump is used to using his wealth and power to intimidate people."
“He's a bully, but I can say to you I'm a bully-buster, I'm going to fight back,” Omarosa continued.
The White House released their own statement on Omarosa's book, saying, ““Instead of telling the truth about all the good President Trump and his administration are doing to make America safe and prosperous, this book is riddled with lies and false accusations. It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the President during her time in the administration."
