Jordan is about to hit the big screen with Sylvester Stallone again in the highly anticipated “Creed 2.” He said, “This is the first time I've ever come back to do a sequel to anything.”
Michael said he trained even harder this time, sharing, “The diet was a little stricter. I ate like four or five times a day… Worked out two to three times a day. A lot of cardio and just boxing a lot.”
The 31-year-old is up for an Emmy for his HBO drama “Fahrenheit 451.” He commented, “I'm on a high right now. I'm really enjoying it.”
Jordan is hoping he can make it to the ceremony, despite his busy schedule. He said, “I'm trying to make sure I'm gonna get there 'cause I'm gonna be filming my next project, so hopefully we can work out a way for me to be in the building.”
Perhaps he could take Tiffany Haddish if he goes? The funnywoman recently made it loud and clear she has a huge crush on him. Michael gushed, “Tiffany, she's amazing. She's so funny and talented.”
Michael was joined by Jamie Foxx at MBJAM at Dave & Buster's, where they raised $250,000 for lupus. He shared, “It wasn't just my mom going through it, everybody in the family kind of went through it. So I kind of wanted the celebration, the fundraiser, the charity so everybody can be involved.”
His mom is “pretty proud” of his work. Michael said, “I think she's proud. She's always crying.”
His mom is currently in remission. She shared, “Everything sort of worked out really, really well for me and I'm just grateful for all of it. I really am.”
