'The Bachelor' Delivers Another Shocker!
Monday's “Bachelor” finale left fans with a cliffhanger… what would be the fate of Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham?
Warning: Spoilers Ahead
It looks like happily ever after for the couple! Arie got down on one knee and popped the question during Tuesday's “After the Final Rose” special. Lauren said yes!
Just as the show was coming to close, Arie told Lauren, “I've made some bad decisions but the best decision was running back to you. I can't imagine a life without you. You have shown me a love that is patient, a love that is kind, and I truly believe you are my soulmate. I'm ready to face this life with you, and all that comes with it. The good, and the bad. I love you so much. I wanted to do this in front everyone because I want to show you that I should have done this a long time ago. Lauren Elizabeth Burnham, will you marry me?”
Lauren replied, “Definitely!”
Next, Arie and Lauren plan to take an international vacation and stay off of social media for awhile. Then, Lauren will move to Arizona to live with Arie.
The pair has already had their share of ups and downs.
On Monday's episode, Luyendyk broke up with Lauren and proposed to Becca Kufrin. The engagement didn't last long. Becca was left heartbroken by Arie during a trip to Los Angeles. As the cameras were rolling, Arie told Becca that he still had feelings for Lauren and wanted to pursue a relationship with her instead.
Despite the brutal break up, things are looking up for Becca. She was just named “The Bachelorette”!
