‘Everlasting Love’ Singer Robert Knight Dead at 72
Singer Robert Knight has passed away at the age of 72.
Knight, known as the original singer of “Everlasting Love,” died on Sunday after battling a short illness, the Tennessean reports.
He was also known for the songs “Blessed are the Lonely,” “Isn't it Lonely Together” and “Love on a Mountain Top.”
Knight stepped away from music to work at Vanderbilt University in Nashville as a chemistry teacher and lab technician.
