Margot Robbie on Playing Tonya Harding: 'I Personally Would Not Want Someone to Steal My Life'
The toast of the Toronto Film Festival for her performance as notorious skater Tonya Harding in "I, Tonya," Margot Robbie opened up Friday about the film at the IMDb Studio at TIFF, hosted by The Visa Infinite Lounge.
"She was amazing about it," Robbie gushed of Harding's input. "I personally would not want someone to steal my life into 100-and-something pages, and she was so gracious, she was amazing about it — really, really amazing."

View StoryEven though the black dramedy covers the bizarre 1994 attack on Nancy Kerrigan, Harding's rival, at the hands of several of Harding's associates — an incident that led to Harding pleading guilty to conspiracy to hinder a prosecution and being banned for life from USFSA-run events — Harding apparently praised "I, Tonya."
Margot said, "She was really complimentary about what we pulled off and she was really kind about my skating even though I am nowhere near as good as her nor I should be."
