Alison Brie Explains Why Relationships Fall Apart in Hollywood, Plus Her Views on Nudity

In her feature, Brie explained what “shocks” her about Hollywood, going nude for her new Netflix show “Glow,” and smoking weed.

Alison recently married actor Dave Franco, but was asked why it is so difficult for Hollywood romances to last? She replied, “Everybody cheats on their husbands and wives. It always bums me out. I mean, it makes sense on some level because there's such an immediate intimacy to what actors do. You shoot scenes with people where you're falling in love with them or making out with them or pretending to have sex with them.”

She continued, "So I understand. And you can be away from your loved one for months at a time, and hackers are making it more and more difficult to send sexy photos to one another, so what are you going to do? But it still really shocks me.”

Franco recently opened up on his sex scene with Aubrey Plaza and Jemima Kirke on “The Little Hours.” He told Seth Meyers, "I did the scene and it was fine. I went back to the hotel, and she asked how it was and I said it was totally cool. And we left it at that… cut to a year later and we were watching the movie for the first time together and the threesome scene starts… the scene ended and there was silence, and she turned to me and said, 'That was really sexy.' And that's the moment I knew I had the coolest wife on planet Earth.” Watch!

Brie had to strip naked for a scene in the first episode, but she “had no hesitation.” She said, "Getting naked on camera is like ripping off a Band-Aid. The hardest part is the transition from being in your robe to being naked on set. Once I was naked, it kind of reminded me of my nudist days from college and that feeling of, Oh yeah, I love my body and this is fun and silly and it's fine.”
