Eva Longoria Spills on ‘Empire’ Guest-Starring Role
“Extra” recently caught up with Eva Longoria on the set of “Empire” while she was shooting her guest-starring gig.
Of her role, Longoria shared, “I play Charlotte Frost, head of the Las Vegas Gaming Commission. Lucious and the Lyon family are trying to break into Vegas, and they can't do it without me.”
What was Eva's reaction when they approached her with the role? She said, "When they asked me to be on 'Empire,' I was like, 'Yes'!”
On the show, Longoria's character is seduced by the Lyons' oldest son, Andre. She revealed, “I was like, 'If anything, I'm gonna sleep with Terrence, but I didn't sleep with Terrence, I sleep with Andre."
Though they aren't playing love interests on the show, Eva and Terrence actually go way back! She said, "I've just been great friends with Terrence most of my life, so I definitely wanted to come and play and be opposite of Lucious. It's been fun, everybody's great, Taraji's hilarious."
“Empire” airs tonight on FOX.
