How Jennifer Lopez’s Romance with Alex Rodriguez Began

Superstar Jennifer Lopez sat down on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” opening up on her romance with Alex Rodriguez.
In the episode, airing Monday Lopez revealed that she met her “great guy” while having a Cobb salad in Los Angeles. She said, “It's very simple… I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him and he passed by… I saw him walk by and then afterwards I went outside, but for some reason I just felt like tapping him on the shoulder and saying hi."
During their brief chat, Jennifer and Alex made tentative plans to hang out, since they both live in Los Angeles. She said, "He [later] texted me, he said, 'Let's go out to dinner,' I said, 'Okay.'… We had a nice dinner.” Watch!
When Ellen joked about a sleepover on the first date, Jennifer responded, "No. Mama don't sleep over on the first date.” Ellen replied, “I do!"
As for kids together, Jennifer said, “Oh, my God! We're just having a nice time right now.”
Jennifer was also joined on the show by her twins, Emme and Max.
