Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s Baby Boy Shai Makes His TV Debut
“Dancing with the Stars” couple Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are finally ready to show their baby boy Shai to the world!

On Friday, the pair made an appearance on “Good Morning America,” where they debuted Shai, who was born in early January. As for why they waited a month to put him in the spotlight, Peta said, "We just wanted to keep him for ourselves.”
Peta explained how parenthood has changed their lives, saying, "It's not about me anymore. It's all about Shai. It's amazing. I'm okay with it."
Of his hopes for his new son, Maks said, “I'm hoping he'll look like me and have [Peta's] personality.”
Though he'll only be a few months old, Shai is scheduled to appear at his parents' summer wedding. Peta joked, "We're wondering how to get him down the aisle.”
Later in the day, Peta posted more photos of Shai, writing on Instagram, "@MaksimC and I are so excited to share the first photos of the love of our life, Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy, on @allthingsfamandglam today!” For more pics, visit her website.
