Bethenny Frankel’s Ex, Jason Hoppy, Arrested For Harassment and Stalking
There continues to be bad blood between Bethenny Frankel and ex-husband Jason Hoppy — he was arrested for allegedly stalking the Skinnygirl founder and “RHONY” star.
Jason allegedly showed up to the couple's six-year-old daughter's Manhattan school Friday, where he yelled, “I will destroy you!” at Frankel, who was with her boyfriend of a year, Dennis Shields. He was also charged with harassment for sending abusive emails to Frankel.
An NYPD spokeswoman confirmed to Page Six, “On Friday, January 27, the suspect approached her and a friend at her child's school at around 8:15 a.m. and tried to provoke a fight. He said, 'I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you've been warned.'”
The spokeswoman added that Hoppy had sent emails and made FaceTime calls to the star even after receiving a cease and desist letter from Frankel's boyfriend on November 22, 2016. Shields had reportedly been copied on the abusive emails.
Hoppy denies the charges, but was charged with harassment in the first degree and stalking in the fourth degree.
The arrest comes after a nasty, drawn-out custody and divorce battle stemming from Frankel and Hoppy's 2014 separation.
