Die-Hard Hockey Fan Jon Hamm to Host 'The NHL 100'
Emmy award-winning actor Jon Hamm has been tapped to host "The NHL 100," which will showcase the greatest 100 NHL players of all time.
The primetime event will be held January 27, during the 2017 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend.
Hamm said of the opportunity to host, "I grew up a huge hockey fan and a St. Louis Blues die-hard, so it's an absolute dream come true to host 'The NHL 100,' where I'll be among the best players to ever play the game that I love so much.” He continued, "To share a stage with the NHL legends I idolized as well as the best players in the league today will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can't wait to bring this unique hockey celebration to my second hometown — Los Angeles.”
The first phase of the 100 greatest NHL players were announced at the 2017 Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic outdoor game. The marquee event was held in Toronto.
The Los Angeles Kings, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary will host the 2017 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend. Tickets are available at AXS.com.
