Ryan Lochte Has a Baby on the Way with Fiancée Kayla Rae Reid
Looks like Boomer Phelps will have a friend to splash around with soon!
Ryan Lochte and his fiancée Kayla Rae Reid announced on Instagram they are expecting a child together.
The 12-time gold medalist captioned the sweet photo of himself and Kayla, "My Christmas gift came early this year, can't wait for next year! Best news I've ever received #CLOUD9 #excited #family #love #2017”

In the underwater photo Ryan shared, Kayla is wearing a two-piece bikini, with Ryan kissing her tiny baby bump. Similar to the pic the swimmer posted, she Instagrammed another shot of the two floating under the water.
The mommy-to-be captioned her pic, "Just when you think you think you have it all figured out, life always surprises you with blessings when least expect it. So excited to share this news with all of you! 👶😊”

The couple announced their engagement October 9. Ryan proposed after taking Kayla in a private helicopter around Los Angeles.
The swimmer dished to “Extra's” Rene Bargh in detail, "We took a helicopter ride. We went up the coast of Malibu, the helicopter landed us on top of a mountain, and on the mountain it was a picnic. It had roses, champagne and that's when I got down on one knee and I said, 'I love you with all my heart, I'll always be there for you through thick and thin, will you marry me?' And she said, 'Yes,' and I was like, 'Whhhattt?!'”
When Renee asked about the two having kids, he responded, “That's something we both want. I love family and I want a kid of my own.”
