Last night, actor John Travolta looked dapper at the Critics' Choice Awards, which he attended solo. John's wife Kelly was not on hand for the show since she was off getting ready for Christmas, but while on the red carpet, he chatted with “Extra's” Renee Bargh all about celebrating the holidays with Kelly and their kids.
The family is continuing their tradition of going to Maine. “She is prepping Christmas for the kids,” John said. “Present-buying and wrapping, we do a big Christmas… You can't move through the living room for sure… all the baking and the presents. We have special things — the kids do the opening of the Christmas days, the 30 days of Christmas.”
John, nominated for a Golden Globe for his work in “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” said the nomination is a prelude for the rest of the awards season. “Without the critics supporting your project, you don't end up at the Emmys or the Oscars, so it's empirical, that that's the truth about this.”
When Renee asked if he has been naughty or nice, John quipped, “Both, yes!”
