Johnny Depp Breaks His Silence Amid Divorce News

Actor Johnny Depp is speaking out for the first time since wife Amber Heard filed for divorce.
Depp's rep released a statement to Eonline.com saying, "Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."
Heard filed for divorce on Monday citing irreconcilable differences. She requested spousal support, but Depp has asked the judge to deny the request.
According to TMZ, the couple did not have a prenup.
