Former “Grey’s Anatomy” star Patrick Dempsey and wife Jillian are back "on" after she filed for divorce over a year ago.
In a recent interview with Evening Standard’s ES magazine, Dempsey confirmed the reconciliation, saying, "Yeah, I think so. You have to work at everything. And you cannot do everything. Something has to be sacrificed.”
Though Jillian filed divorce papers in January last year, the two were spotted holding hands and posing for selfies over the winter in Europe, sparking rumors they were working on their 16-year marriage.
Dempsey has even scaled back on his time at the race track to spend time with his family. He told the publication, "I’ve sort of stepped back — I’m the team owner, but time goes by so quickly with my kids that I don’t want to miss that. Last year we had a good team, and a good car, it was the right moment... where I could focus 100 percent on doing a full season. Now it’s time to put that personal philosophy into my kids, allowing them to find their goals, their passions.”
TMZ reports the judge in their divorce case is planning on dismissing their case if they don’t take any action on the divorce proceedings. In the papers, Jillian has asked for spousal support and joint custody of their three children – Tallulah Fyfe, 14, and twins Sullivan Patrick and Galen, 9.
