Hot Model Loses Instagram Followers for Showing Too Much

Stina Sanders has found out the limit of Instagram's tolerance for reality.
The beautiful young model, who has posed for Maxim, FHM, and many other top publications, used to fill her followers' feeds with retouched images from her glamorous shoots and carefully chosen candids from the exotic locales she calls her workplace.
According to a HuffingtonPost profile, Sanders was moved by the story of 18-year-old model Essena O'Neill, who left Instagram (with over 750,000 followers) because she felt her perfect-seeming social-media image was harmful to young girls.
Instead of quitting Instagram, Sanders decided to start keeping it real, posting images of herself doing less fabulous things, like getting a colonic irrigation for her IBS, attending psychotherapy, and having her upper lip waxed.
She lost over 20% of her followers.
"It's that kind of 'I didn't sign up for this' attitude," she told Tab magazine. "Perhaps sharing my real life was too much for them... No one is perfect."
After cratering at 10,000 followers, the real-deal model has now soared to nearly 70,000.
