Coffee Talk: Sofia Vergara Dishes on Her Emmys Popcorn Moment, Her Wedding, and the Pope

"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara isn't letting wedding plans slow her down or get in the way of her work commitments — she recently sat down with "Extra's" AJ Calloway in NYC to promote The Ninja Coffee Bar, a drip coffee maker than can also handle things like lattes.

Vergara is fresh off her appearance at the Emmy Awards, where she was caught on camera snacking on popcorn. She explained, "I'm a big snack person; everybody was eating at that place, it wasn't me alone. I was the only one that got caught… I was just concentrating, you know, like, you're having fun watching an interesting thing and you get into a trance eating your popcorn, but Ty was eating chocolate with raisins he gave to all of us, Julie was having... a drink, and I had the popcorn, so we all like were sharing."

Sofia is very close to her "Modern Family" co-stars, especially Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who introduced her to Joe. "He kinda made things happen for me and Joe, so we're very grateful for him."

Despite her busy schedule, she is still making time to plan her wedding, which is set for November. "Yeah, we're planning it. We're trying to make it as private as possible... we wanted to keep [it] as a family-and-friend thing.”

The 43-year-old actress was in the Big Apple right before Pope Francis's arrival. She shared her excitement by saying, "It's amazing, ya know, to have his presence here and to see how the people are so excited. It's very meaningful for the Catholic religion."

As for why she loves The Ninja Coffee Bar, she said, "Everybody loves coffee, ya know? I have one of these machines on the trailer in 'Modern Family' and I give them all coffee."
