Ja Rule & Steve Madden Join Forces for Men's Fashion Line
Last night, Ja Rule hit Macy's Herald Square in New York for the launch Steve Madden's first men's collaboration: MAVENXMADDEN.
The rapper said in a statement, “I wanted to partner with Steve to create a line that was both stylish and affordable. I love all the styles, but my favorites, I would have to say, are the high-top nubuck sneaker [the VANQUISH] and the brush-off chelsea boot [the PRESTIJE] and the Maven motorcycle-stye boot [the INFINATE] is something different from anything out there.”
Madden added, “He came to the table with all of these ideas. He's an awesome guy, we click. It's been fun to collaborate with artists. I enjoy it. I enjoy the creative spark.”
This is Steve Madden's third celebrity collaboration and will include bold sneakers, dress shoes, and motorcycle kicks. His first two were with female rap stars Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea.
