Rihanna Named Key Advisor for 'The Voice' Season 9
It has just been announced that Rihanna is bringing her talents to the ninth season of "The Voice."
The "American Oxygen" singer will be a key advisor for all four judges — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell and Gwen Stefani — who is returning for her second season.
NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt revealed the big news at the TCA Press Tour on Thursday. He said, "We landed Rihanna to be the key advisor to all the coaches this fall. This is one of music's true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers."
Rihanna isn't the only big name to be an advisor on the show. Previous season advisors include Taylor Swift, Coldplay's Chris Martin and Fun's Nate Ruess.
“The Voice” premieres September 21 on NBC.
