‘Bachelorette’ Kaitlyn Bristowe Eliminates JJ Lane, Heads to ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
Kaitlyn Bristowe nixed former investment banker JJ Lane from Monday night's “Bachelorette” episode after the single dad admitted he cheated on his wife three years ago.
"The simple explanation is three years ago I cheated on my wife… I made a mistake that basically has destroyed my life,” said Lane. “I lost everything. I lost my wife. I lost my daughter half the time. Everything I had worked hard for was gone with one bad, terrible decision."
Bristowe responded honestly, "I'm not gonna lie, that is my biggest fear in a relationship." Shortly after, Bristowe axed the bachelor.
After he was cut, Lane said it felt "like I got blindsided by a semi-truck.”
He added, "I just really want to find someone special. I want to share my life with them. I want to have a partner in crime. I want them to see how beautiful my daughter is."
It seems Lane will get his chance when he joins the cast of “Bachelor in Paradise,” reports People.
Other confirmed cast members hitting the beach for the second season, which premieres August 2, include Mikey Tenerelli, Dan Cox and Kirk DeWindt, Tenley Molzahn, Clare Crawley (who also appeared in the first season), Ashley Salter, Ashley Iaconetti, Carly Waddell, Juelia Kinney, Jillian Anderson and Jade Roper (who are all from Chris Soules' season of “The Bachelor").
