Shia LaBeouf Hospitalized After Stunt Goes Horribly Wrong
Actor Shia LaBeouf is on the mend after suffering a head injury early Wednesday morning on the set of “American Honey” in North Dakota.
The star was performing a stunt which required putting his head through a glass window, but something went horribly wrong.
LaBeouf was rushed to the hospital, where doctors treated deep cuts on his head and right index finger. The head injuries required 20 stitches and 13 staples, with additional stitches used to treat his finger.
Shia's rep told Gossip Cop the injuries were “minimal” and that he was taken to the hospital as a matter of “protocol.” He is expected to make a full recovery and will likely be back to work on Thursday.
In July of 2008, LeBeouf seriously injured his left hand in an auto accident.
