Kim & Kanye in Israel, Baptize North West in Ancient Cathedral
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their 22-month-old daughter North West baptized in Israel, a rep confirmed to Gossip Cop.
The couple flew from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, to Jerusalem, where the ceremony took place at Saint James Cathedral, a 12th-century Armenian church in Jerusalem.
Cameras captured Kanye and little North both dressed in white as they exited a car, while Kim was seen in a cream-colored outfit as she entered the church. Little sister Khloé also joined the family in Israel, and according to an E! insider, she acted as Nori's godmother during the baptism, with the priest standing in as godfather. The family is expected to leave for Jordan on April 14.
The Kardashian/North family has been traveling in Armenia since April 8, where they not only met with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, but also reunited with cousins Kourtni & Kara Kardashian.
Older sister Kourtney Kardashian was noticeably absent from the trip, recently stating that it was nerves that kept her from flying with her three small children.
"I wish I was in Armenia with my sisters on #siblingsday!" Kardashian captioned along with a photo of Kim and Khloé Kardashian at the Armenian genocide memorial. "I didn't end up going to Armenia because it was making me too anxious with three young children. I do wish that I could have experienced the trip with my sisters, but I do know that we will all go to Armenia together someday."
The family trip was made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide, and to pay tribute to their late father Robert Kardashian, who was a third-generation Armenian American.
