Celebrity color queen Mela Murphy and legendary hair stylist José Eber let “Extra” in on how anyone can get this new look.
First Step: Brighter Is Better
When it comes to your hair, fashion and colors collide. Murphy says that when choosing a color, throw out the rulebook and go for “light and bright.”
“We're always saying warm up your hair, warm up your skin,” insists the color stylist.
Getting the right shade is key, and that depends on your eye color. For blue eyes, keep it a very cool white, and for brown eyes, keep it a more beige white when lightening your look.
Second Step: Cutting it Short
Once you get the perfect color, be bold and start styling! Eber told “Extra” short hair is hotter than ever. The beauty of short hair is that it can be perfect for any face shape.
Still worried you can't pull off the look? Sexy hair is not about length, but comes from within says Eber. The proof is in this dramatic transformation. Take a look.
Now that's how you make a sexy statement for spring.
