Teresa Giudice’s Countdown to Prison: How Daughter Gia Is Coping
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is set to begin her 15-month prison sentence for bankruptcy fraud on Monday, and the stress seems to be mounting in the Giudice household, especially for daughter Gia.
The eldest Giudice sibling, 13, recently tweeted, "can't sleep, to (sic) much on my mind.”

On her part, Teresa has been spending as much time with her family as possible before she heads to the slammer. Over the Christmas holidays, she took her kids – Gia, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4 -- on a ski trip in New Jersey.
An onlooker told People.com at the time she looked "super stressed out," adding that "she kept uncomfortably rubbing her neck."
As for Teresa's other daughters, a source told RadarOnline that while Gia and Gabriella know where their mother is going, the youngest two have been kept in the dark, believing Teresa is going to prison to research a book.
The insider explained, “Teresa and Joe feel that they are too young to fully comprehend what is going on.”
The Giudices pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud in March. Joe was sentenced to 53 months in prison, which he will serve once Teresa is released.
