Barbara Walters Names Amal Alamuddin 2014’s Most Fascinating Person of the Year

It's official, Barbara Walters has named George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin, 2014's most fascinating person of the year!
Walters made the announcement on Sunday night, noting, "How do I introduce her? I guess the question is, 'What does it take to fascinate one of the most fascinating men in the world?' She is known primarily through her spouse, and while we know little about her, we know a great deal about him. And he has fascinated many women—especially me."

She also likened Amal, a 36-year-old human rights lawyer, to the “Jackie Os, Princess Dis and Kate Middletons” of the world, meaning "everything she does, says or wears is officially fascinating."
Other stars who made the list this year include Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Strahan, David Koch, Elon Musk, George R.R. Martin, Chelsea Handler, Neil Patrick Harris and Scarlett Johansson.
