How Snooki Got Down to 99 Pounds Just 7 Weeks After Baby
Snooki isn't messing around! The reality star, who is set to marry fiancé Jionni LaValle this month, is already down to 99 pounds... just seven weeks after welcoming daughter Giovanni.
How did the star lose the weight? Her trainer, Anthony Michael, told E! News that Snooks, real name Nicole Polizzi, shed the pounds by decreasing carbs and “reducing her calorie intake.”
She's also spending a lot of time in the gym. "It's about spiking the heart rate," Michael explained. "We're also doing plyometrics, cardio, etc. Right now it's all really geared for weight loss, then she wants to focus on lean muscle mass once she's married."
He also made it clear that 99 pounds is “perfectly healthy” for a woman who is only 4'8”.
Snooki is also getting a little help from a body shaper. She posted a pic of herself in the modern-day corset with the caption, “Every MOM needs a little extra help sometimes. Thanks @1800Cinchers for helping me out.”
