Heidi Pratt’s Secret Trauma and Double-D Regrets: ‘I Literally Chopped Up My Own Body’
TV personality Heidi Pratt, who infamously underwent 10 surgeries in one day in 2009, is now sitting down with “Extra's” Renee Bargh and Dr. Armand Dorian for a heartfelt tell-all about her extreme surgery binge and regrets. Her candid confessions will turn your view of this former reality Barbie upside down.
Beautiful, sweet, and surprisingly reflective, Pratt thinks it “sucks” that she is perceived by the public as the “surgery girl.”
Heidi revealed at the time of her surgeries, “I disliked myself so much. I literally chopped up my own body.”
Pratt reportedly spent $30,000 on her surgically enhanced body that was subsequently featured on the cover of People magazine.
She told Bargh her biggest regret is “getting my chin reduced, because I have TMJ now and my jaw hurts. I don't think people do tell you the trauma of what you're going to heal from. I was in so much pain, I actually thought I was going to die.”
When asked by Dr. Dorian about undergoing a breast reduction last year, Heidi revealed, “My implants were falling through. They were three pounds each so I was really miserable. Obviously, I didn't want to go back into surgery, but it was really necessary.”
Confronted with pre-surgery pics of herself as a teenager, Pratt became subdued. “Sometimes it makes me a little sad because I see not only what I look like, but who I was.”
Heidi vowed to remain surgery-free from now on. “I'm just done with all of it. I'm going to age gracefully and bow out.”
