Is Alfonso Ribeiro Quitting 'Dancing with the Stars'?
“Dancing with the Stars” frontrunner Alfonso Ribeiro may have to quit the show, a source told TMZ.
An insider told the site that Ribeiro was trying to “over-compensate for a groin injury” he suffered in October and ended up hurting his back!
The “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum attended “DWTS” rehearsals on Friday, but didn't participate beyond watching partner Witney Carson practice with a stand-in.
Insiders say producers are worried Alfonso could cause permanent damage to his back if he dances on Monday.
Ribeiro has been suffering since performing his signature dance, “The Carlton,” with Witney on Oct. 6. They earned a perfect score, but he told Us Weekly later, "I hurt my groin doing the Carlton. I think I did it so hard that I actually pulled it."
