Robin Williams' Daughter Zelda Quits Social Media Over Horrifying Messages

Zelda Williams, daughter of late comedian Robin Williams, is taking a break from social media after receiving horrifying messages and photos from Internet trolls.
According to Buzzfeed, haters sent the 25-year-old graphic photoshopped images of her father's dead body.
At first she enlisted the online community to help report the abuse, tweeting, “Please report @PimpStory @MrGoosebuster. I'm shaking. I can't. Please. Twitter requires a link and I won't open it. Don't either. Please.”
She later deleted the tweet, but followed up with another message, explaining, “I'm sorry. I should've risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye.”
Zelda also left a message for haters on Instagram, hitting back at anyone who questioned the number of photos she had posted of her father.
She said, “There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or 'selfies'. I shared him with a world where everyone was taking their photo with him, but I was lucky enough to spend time with him without cameras too. That was more than enough, and I'm grateful for what little time I had. My favorite photos of family are framed in my house, not posted on social media, and they'll remain there.”
So far, Zelda has chosen to delete Twitter and Instagram from her devices, but has not canceled the accounts.
She had earlier posted touching tributes to her father via social channels. Read Zelda's statement here.
