Katherine Webb Shows Off Her Engagement Ring!
“Extra” caught up with TV personality Katherine Webb at the Cedars-Sinai Sports Spectacular Women's Luncheon on Tuesday, where the 24-year-old former Miss Alabama gushed about her recent engagement to football player AJ McCarron and their wedding plans.
Webb flashed her gorgeous ring. “It’s stunning! He did so well… it still hasn’t hit me, it’s only been a week.”
She explained McCarron helped design the sparkler himself. “That made it even more special and he told me that the sides of the ring has pink diamonds that came from the south of Africa. It’s so pretty and different, and that’s what I really wanted.”
The model said the wedding planning is in full effect. “The wedding is coming up really soon. It’s probably going to happen within three months, so I’m going crazy trying to figure out where it’s going to be. What my bridesmaids are going to wear and what I’m going to wear.
She also said she is headed home to Alabama this weekend to find a venue. “We’re going to have a huge guest list so we have to have a place that will accommodate everyone. I have an awesome wedding planner, so he’s going to have to help me.”
As for fiancé McCarron, the former University of Alabama quarterback is gearing up for the NFL Draft in May. Katherine confessed she is anxious about it. “I’m just ready to find out where we’re going and where I need to start looking for a home and where we’re going to settle down for our first year of marriage.”
