Eva Mendes Says She Will Be Watching 'The Notebook' and Crying on Valentine's Day
Actress Eva Mendes has a tentative plan for Valentine's Day, and it sort of involves longtime beau Ryan Gosling.
Sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres on the “Ellen” show on Tuesday, Mendes didn't address the rumors she may have split with Gosling, but jokingly shared what she might do on the love day.
"I'm not a big Valentine's Day person. I'll probably just order a deep dish and watch 'The Notebook' or something," referencing Gosling's cult-fave romantic drama. Eva added, "Just cry, weep."
Mendes also commented on rumors she's pregnant, explaining they all started because she doesn't like those airport scanners.
“The Place Beyond the Pines” star said, "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know, those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy. They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat-down.”
DeGeneres agreed that would be a great way to get a valentine. Mendes laughed, “I don't mean in person, I meant in private because they can take you. Ladies, I want you to know that they can take you in private, they can take you into an area."
