Miley Goes Country for 'MTV Unplugged,' But Still Twerks on Madonna and a Horse
In case you forgot, Miley Cyrus used to be a country girl, so naturally her “MTV Unplugged” special was part hoedown, part twerkathon!
Miley added Southern flair all the way around. Her countrified fashion included a tight gingham getup paired with a blonde wig, followed by a head-to-toe bedazzled denim number accessorized with a cowboy hat!
Adding to the country vibe, was a horse onstage acting as a back up dancer and twerking partner!
The music was stripped down. While she performed her hits like “Wrecking Ball” and “Adore You,” Cyrus added a little Dolly Parton to the mix, covering “Jolene.”
The most anticipated song of the night was the Cyrus and Madonna duet. The pair teamed up for a mashup of “Don't Tell Me” and “We Can't Stop.”
They didn't kiss, but Madonna did do all of Miley's signature moves from twerking to tongue wagging. Madge even wore a cowboy hat!
