‘NCIS’: First Set Pics of Emily Wickersham and What You Should Know About the Star
Although “NCIS” fans are still missing Cote de Pablo's Ziva David, at least they'll have someone new to root for: NSA analyst Eleanor Bishop, played by newcomer Emily Wickersham.
It was announced in September that Wickersham would join Team Gibbs for a three-story arc, but on Monday the show said the actress has been promoted to series regular, making her debut November 19.
Here are five fun facts about Emily:
She's been on TV before: Emily is best known for her role as Rhiannon, A.J.'s girlfriend, on the final season of “The Sopranos” and had a recurring part on FX's drama “The Bridge.”

She's met Robert Pattinson: Emily was the “Miami Blonde” in the 9/11 weepie “Remember Me,” with the “Twilight” heartthrob.
She's had more substantial movie roles, too: Wickerhsham co-starred in films “Gone” and “I Am Number Four.”

She's gonna be tough as Ellie Bishop: The character description reads, "Bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward," along with "a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism who specializes in international threat assessment and global preparation."

She's got “NCIS” executive producer Gary Glasberg approval: In a statement to Variety, Glasberg siad, "Emily Wickersham's Ellie Bishop is proving to perfectly complement the NCIS team. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Great things are planned for Bishop and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her on-board."
