'The Voice' Recap: Kaley Cuoco's Sister Briana Faces the Coaches
A new crop of hopefuls took “The Voice” stage for week two of the blind auditions, including Kaley Cuoco's younger sister, Briana.
Kaley watched from backstage as her sister belted Lady Gaga's “You and I” for coaches Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine. Watch!
The tension grew when the four mentors didn't turn around. “Please! Come on!” Cuoco said nervously from the viewing room.
Finally, Xtina hit her buzzer and then Cee Lo, causing Kaley to jump with excitement.
Briana, wearing black pants and a leather jacket, admitted to the panel, "I need to sit down.”
Aguilera told her, "You held out those notes really, really strong. You made me really happy” and Green added, "Being with a powerful woman is one of my favorite places to be."
Briana chose “girl power” opting for Christina as her coach.
After the show, Briana set the record straight about rumors the show was “rigged.”
She tweeted, “...and yes I knew the "rigged" issue would come w/ this incredible opportunity. It stung 4 a minute & now I choose to forget it & move on.”
Kaley added, “FYI last nights #TheVoice was NOT rigged because I'm @bricuoco sis. She made it ON HER OWN 100%. It's called BLIND AUDITIONS for a reason.”
Tune in to NBC on Tuesday at 8 PM for more blind auditions.
