Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth End Engagement
It turns out the breakup rumors were true, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially over and have ended their engagement.
The stars' reps confirmed the news to People.
After appearing as a united front at Liam's August 8 “Paranoia” premiere, the relationship went downhill.
Miley's twerking at the MTV VMAs reportedly “mortified” Liam… and that was before the naked “Wrecking Ball” video (The racy vid now has over 100 million views!).
Then, without explanation, Cyrus unfollowed Hemsworth on Twitter on Saturday, leading many to speculate that the two had hit a rough patch.
The stars have been traveling separately in recent days with Miley building buzz for her new “Bangerz” album in Europe and Liam in Las Vegas with friends to watch Showtime PPV's Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Alvarez boxing match.
The twosome has had their ups and downs since meeting on the set of “The Last Song” in 2010 and becoming engaged in May 2012.
