'Fifty Shades of Grey': Will Charlie Hunnam Use a Body Double?
Charlie Hunnam will have plenty of naked screen time in “Fifty Shades of Grey,” but will he use a body double to do Christian Grey’s heavy lifting?
“Never!” he confessed to “Extra’s” Renee Bargh at FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” premiere party.
“Never body doubles… Never in my life… I’m not worried,” he insisted. Charlie added, “It has just been a really exciting week for me creatively… it’s a wonderful role, I’m really honored to be entrusted with bringing Christian to life.”
How does jewelry designer Morgana McNelis, Charlie’s girlfriend, feel about her man playing the billionaire with a fondness for S&M?
“She’s incredibly supportive,” Charlie said. “Of course, she [had trepidations] at first… It requires a lot to be with an actor, she has to share certain elements of me with the world… she’s excited for me.”
