MTV VMAs: Lady Gaga Shocks on Red Carpet, Goes On Stage Nearly Naked
Lady Gaga caught everyone off guard at the 2013 MTV VMAs when she strolled the red carpet looking… nearly normal!
Known for her over-the-top ensembles, Mother Monster played it safe with a form-fitting black ball gown that showed off her assets with a plunging neckline. The fashionista chose long dark tresses for the occasion.

By the time Gaga kicked off the award show with “Applause” she was back to her old self, wearing something that looked part nun, part opera.
Inspired by the “Applause” video, the singer went through several wigs and costume changes – one involving '80s shoulder pads – before strutting the stage nearly naked!
