Hallmark Channel Pulls Plug on Marie Osmond Show
The Hallmark Channel has decided not to renew Marie Osmond's daytime talk show for a second season.
Hallmark said they wanted to take their daytime into a different direction, specifically more lifestyle shows offering how-to tips.
“Marie” will be going into syndication as planned, with a launch in September 2014. The channel said it expected Osmond to find "great success" in bringing her talk show to syndication.
New and repeat episodes of "Marie" will air on Hallmark through September.
