Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Host 2013 Golden Globes!

NBC stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have been tagged as co-hosts of the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
The funny women are only the second hosting team on the awards show, which went without a host until Ricky Gervais was tapped for the job the last three years.
Fey, the popular creator and star of “30 Rock,” had previously turned down overtures to host the Academy Awards. She and Poehler, who stars on NBC's “Parks and Recreation,” are longtime friends and former “Saturday Night Live” castmates.
“Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year's festivities is a major coup,” said Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming for NBC. “Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on 'SNL' to their successful co-starring roles in 'Baby Mama.'”
“The unparalleled comedic timing of Tina and Amy will surely have viewers wanting to tune-in to see them in action,” said HFPA president Aida Takla-O'Reilly in a statement. “The HFPA is thrilled to have the magnetic duo be a part of the show's 70th anniversary!”
The 2013 Golden Globes will be telecast live on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 5:00PM PT/8:00 PM ET on NBC.
