Brooke Burke Wants You to Smile
“Dancing with the Stars” host Brooke Burke is teaming with Dreyer's and Edy's Slow Churned Ice Cream to launch the "A Reason to Smile" campaign for Operation Smile, a worldwide children's charity organization that helps treat facial deformities such as cleft lips and cleft palates.
Dreyer’s and Edy’s Slow Churned is taking to the streets this summer to give away 25,000 scoops of ice cream and a no-compromise-necessary “Reason to Smile.”
The slow-churned process maintains all the rich and creamy taste of regular ice cream, but with half the fat and a third fewer calories. As if that weren’t reason enough to flash your yummiest ice cream grin, every smile captured this summer will generate a donation to Operation Smile. From too good to do good, now you really can have it all!
Coast to coast, and scoop by scoop, Dreyer’s and Edy’s will stop at publishing houses, mommy blog conferences and Colorado’s summer fair, to capture the smiles that appear when people take their very first bite and realize the delicious ice cream they’re eating was made right by us, so it’s just right for them. Here are some dates:
• America’s Freedom Festival, Provo, UT (July 2 – 4)
• Coca Cola July 4th Festival Charlotte, NC
• Social Luxe Lounge presented by Slow Churned, New York, NY (August 2)
• Denver County Fair, Denver, CO (August 10 – 12)
For every ice cream face captured or uploaded to Dreyer’s and Edy’s Facebook pages, we’ll donate $5 to Operation Smile, and feature the photo live in Times Square, inspiring smiles every step of the way.

By the end of the summer, our goal is give away more than 25,000 scoops of ice cream, inspire 25,000 no-compromise smiles and gift more than 500 surgeries to children in need. So go ahead, have your ice cream and eat it, too!
