Mariah Carey on Whitney Houston's Death: 'It's Very Heavy'
Mariah Carey, who attended Whitney Houston's funeral on Saturday but did not perform, appeared on "Good Morning America" this morning and opened up about her rumored rocky relationship with Whitney, saying, "I'm almost incapable of talking about this still... it's very heavy, emotionally."
Carey added, "I don't think people could ever understand our relationship or this supposed rivalry in the beginning, and then we did the duet and became friends."
Mariah and Whitney won an Oscar for their duet, "When You Believe," and the singer said, "I saw her toward the end, and I loved her, we all loved her, may she rest in peace. Her legend is going to go on forever."
