Woody Harrelson's Love Scene Jitters Remedy? Tequila!
"Extra's" Jerry Penacoli caught up with "Rampart" star Woody Harrelson -- who talked about his nerve-wracking love scenes opposite Sean Penn's ex-wife, Robin Wright, and said, "I needed a drink, she had some tequila, and said, 'Let's do it.'"
He added, "Oh yeah, I was about as nervous as I've ever been."
Harrelson said gulping down the shots "helped," noting, "These artificial inducements to relaxation, of course, I am 100-percent against them, but in this particular case, I thought it was worthwhile."
"Rampart" takes place on the streets of L.A., telling the intense story of corrupt cops. Woody said he needed to step out of his comfort zone to play the role of a police officer, saying, "I'm a happy hippie from Hawaii, and this is a hard kind of image to think of me as a cop in my own mind."
The actor admitted he would love to have starred in the 2011 comedy, "Hall Pass," explaining, "I thought that movie was phenomenal."
