Video! Spielberg's 'Terra Nova' Premieres Tonight
Steven Spielberg's post-apocalyptic thriller, "Terra Nova," is easily one of the most exciting shows of the fall season.
Jason O'Mara, who plays Jim Shannon, stopped by The Grove to chat with "Extra" about saving mankind, and working with Spielberg. O'Mara revealed, "It's a little scary knowing that everything you do is going to be watched. The series is peppered with Steven Spielberg moments, and that's just really exciting."
The actor added the show is "very ambitious... a very difficult, complicated show to make, and we finally made it. I'm actually more relieved now that the world's going to get to see what we've been working on."
The series takes place in 2149, on an earth that has been transformed into a harsh environment where natural resources have been nearly exhausted, forcing inhabitants to follow a strict two-child policy. It's a law that the Shannon family have broken, and their youngest, Jim Shannon is taken away to prison.
During his sentence, Jim's wife, Elisabeth (Shelley Conn) is recruited by Terra Nova -- a team of earth-saving heroes, and soon, the entire family will travel back in time 85 million years to join the settlers whose goal is to change Earth's future.
Check out the heart-pumping preview and catch the two-hour premiere on Monday night at 8:00 PM on FOX.
