Bristol Palin: 'I Think My Mom Would Be Great' as President
Single mom activist Bristol Palin and her "Dancing with the Stars" partner Mark Ballas stopped by The Grove to chat with "Extra's" Mario Lopez, where she told Mario what she thought of the idea of her mother, Sarah Palin, running for president.
"I think it would be awesome," she said. "I think she would be great for our country."
The former Alaska governor has showed support for Bristol throughout her "DWTS" experience, but was at first skeptical about the idea. Bristol said her mom's initial reaction about the show was, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Being thrust into the media spotlight, Palin said acting and the L.A. lifestyle are not something she wants to pursue, saying, "I miss Alaska, I miss the cold weather, I miss the snow," she told Mario.
Ballas addressed rumors that he and Bristol are a couple. "We try to keep it pro," he said when asked about their chemistry.
