'DWTS' Cast Talks to 'Extra' About Hoff Booted Off
"Dancing with the Stars" contestant David Hasselhoff has been eliminated, and everyone was pretty surprised by it -- including the Hoff!
"Mario, what happened? They voted The Hoff -- off. I needed some pointers from you, dude!" Hasselhoff joked backstage with "Extra's" Lauren Sanchez, after the "DWTS" results were announced. "I thought we danced our Hassles-off. Ha. And we danced our hassle right off the show."
His "DWTS" castmates offered their support. Brandy said, "I'm very shocked 'cause America loves The Hoff. I love The Hoff!" Tony Dovolani added, "How could they hassle the Hoff?"
Joining Hasselhoff as low scorers were Margaret Cho and Bristol Palin, who told "Extra" they were both prepared to go. "I was scared at first, but I'm glad we're on to week two. I can keep my hips under control!"
Karina Smirnoff thought her partner Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was a goner, too. "When they told me I had Mike, I was pretty much screwed -- that's what I thought!" she laughed. But The Situation promised an improvement next week. "We've got a lot of tricks up our sleeve."
Still, Hasselhoff will be missed -- especially by his daughters, who told him he should do "DWTS" "I said, 'Kids, it's okay. It's show business. This is what happens in life. You just pick yourself up and move on.'"
