Oscar Winner Kathryn Bigelow, Ex Video Vixen?
Kathryn Bigelow made history on Sunday by becoming the first female to win an Oscar for Best Director. Besides being a phenomenal director and the ex-wife of James Cameron, the 58-year-old director has an interesting past.
Here are five things you probably didn't know about Ms. Bigelow:
•She is dating the writer of the "Hurt Locker," 37-year-old Mark Boals.
•In the early '70s, Kathryn had dreams of being a painter.
•In the '80s, she played a sexy cowgirl in a video for actor Bill Paxton's band, which was directed by ex-hubby James Cameron.
•Before making it big, Kathryn worked in construction.
•The Oscar winner has also climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
