'Idol's' Disco Tuesday Night
"American Idol" boogied on Tuesday night with a disco theme -- and once again, Adam Lambert stood out from the crowd.
Lambert wowed the judges with "If I Can't Have You" and Paula Abdul was entranced. She said she could feel the 27-year-old's pain and he was definitely going to make it to the finals.
Abdul also enjoyed Danny Gokey's rendition of "September." She declared Gokey has "one of the sexiest voices," but Simon Cowell couldn't help but comment on the contestant for his lack of star power.
Last week Matt Giraud was saved by the panel and sang the appropriate "Stayin' Alive." Cowell claimed he could sense desperation in Giraud's performance, but he saved his extreme negativity for Lil Rounds. Simon berated the 24-year-old's cover of "I'm Every Woman," saying it was "a mess."
Two finalists will leave the competition on Wednesday night's results show. The judges won't be able to save a singer from the competition, since they used up the one-time pass last week.
