First Pic! Meet Andy Cohen’s Baby Boy, Benjamin
Hello, world! Andy Cohen's son Benjamin Allen is gracing the cover of People magazine this week.
Cohen opened up to the magazine about Benjamin's delivery on February 4, confessing he was hoping he would be born with hair!
“I was in the delivery room. I had been hoping that he would have a full head of hair, and he really overdelivered,” Cohen joked, adding, “That was the first thing you see, the head of hair coming out. And I was amazed.”
Cohen said he “cut the umbilical cord” and then enjoyed some skin-to-skin time with his baby boy.

View Story“He was so alert for the first two hours. His eyes were wide open. He didn't cry; he was just calm.” he said. “I kind of have no words for it.”
In conjunction with the exclusive cover reveal, Andy jumped on a call with the “Today” show, revealing he isn't getting as much sleep since Benjamin's arrival.
“I was never sleeping but I just wasn't sleeping for different reasons,” he joked, adding. “Now I kinda feel like, 'Oh, these are the reasons I shouldn't be sleeping.'”
The “Watch What Happens Live” host also gushed over meeting Benjamin for the first time, saying they “stared at each other for almost two hours” after he was born.
Even now, the 50-year-old says, “I just sit and stare at him.”
Andy also opened up about being a single dad.
“It's not easy for a single guy to do this on his own,” insisting, “It takes a village.”
He added, “I really wanted him, and the fact that he's here and he's so perfect and he's in wonderful health… I have great gratitude for my surrogate and all the people who helped me get to this place.”
The star is clearly over the moon, calling fatherhood “a dream.”
