Kim Kardashian Set to Make First Red-Carpet Appearance Since Robbery
It's been nearly two months since Kim Kardashian was bound, gagged, and robbed at gunpoint while in Paris. Now, "Extra" has learned the reality star is set to make her first red-carpet appearance since the terrifying ordeal.
Tonight, Kim and a few of her family members will honor her late father Robert Kardashian at Denise Rich's Angel Ball in New York City. The event supports cancer research, which is important to the family since her father passed away in July 2003 from esophageal cancer.
A source told Us Weekly, "She wants to get back out there. It's time. She's just rewiring everything because she's been out of it for so long now, not traveling or working." They added, "The Angel Foundation is really important to Kim."
X17 obtained exclusive photos of Mrs. West, sans Kanye, boarding a jet in Los Angeles with her mom Kris Jenner and sister Kourtney Kardashian. A source told X17, "Kim seemed happy to finally get out. She was dressed to the nines and looked stunning.”
Saint and North's mom has maintained her self-imposed social media exile since the jewelry heist, with her last Instagram post on October 2. While her hit E! show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” has resumed filming, it remains to be seen if this return to the spotlight will include a return to selfies and sharing her every move with her 87.7 million Instagram followers.
